Welcome one and all to the Old Oaks Blog!
Sure, we used to have a paper newsletter like other counties. We distributed it to schools and snail mailed it to people but I was never sure if anyone was reading it and to be honest, printing was getting expensive. I thought I’d piggy back off this whole new website situation, save some trees (we are a conservation board after all) and convert our paper newsletter into an interactive and less wordy blog!
Please subscribe, check in for updates and feel free to offer suggestions as we launch our new technology. This is new and experimental for us here at the Madison County Conservation Board, but we hope that our giant step into the future will provide information, entertainment and the occasional smile when you visit our website.
