We’ll discuss the importance of honeybees as pollinators in addition to honey & other hive products we may glean as beekeepers. We’ll cover some basics of bee biology & behavior\, which really is what makes beekeeping such a fascinating hobby. We’ll discuss the role of the beekeeper through the year\, as well as time commitment to be expected\, what equipment is needed to get started\, and where to get it.
