The Madison County Foundation for Environmental Education (MCFEE) was founded in 1982 and was formed to promote conservation and environmental education in Madison County.
Since its founding, MCFEE has provided funding for environmental education programs, land acquisitions to increase public access to natural resources, upgrades to county park facilities, and wildlife habitat improvements all to provide increased opportunities to enjoy Madison County’s unique natural areas for Madison County residents and visitors.
MCFEE is supported by donations, grants and fundraising events. All donations and gifts are invested in the county parks system to provide continued improvements for all visitors to enjoy. Whether it is camping, hiking, paddling, bird watching, hunting, fishing, or just some quite time outdoors Madison County Parks offer something for everyone, winter, spring, summer and fall!
Your support of MCFEE will be greatly appreciated. To make a donation click here to download a brochure and return it to MCFEE PO Box 129 Winterset, Iowa 50273. Thank You!
